October 18, 2010

Dear Family and Friends of Vera Danyluk,

It was with great sorrow that I learned of the passing of Vera Danyluk on October 14 at the age of 66. On behalf of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and all its constituent member organizations, I would like to express my deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Vera Danyluk worked tirelessly for the people of town of Mount Royal, Quebec during her four terms as Mayor.   She was a great role model for young women and the seasoned politician alike. She earned great respect and admiration during her career as an effective municipal leader, and was well known as one politician you could trust.

Vera was a friend of the Ukrainian community and we have suffered a great loss with her passing. Vera will be remembered as a great Ukrainian Canadian who loved Canada and her Ukrainian heritage.

We ask God to remember Vera’s family during this difficult time, and to grant Vera Danyluk eternal life in His Heavenly home.

Молимо Всевишнього, щоб допоміг родині перенести цю велику втрату.  Царство Небесне і вічна пам’ять спочилій с.п. Данилюк.

Вічна Їй Пам’ятть!

Eternal memory to her!

Ukrainian Canadian Congress
