A Special UCC Parliamentary Internship Program Announcement!

December 5, 2018. OTTAWA. The Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) is very proud of our Parliamentary Internship program. By providing valuable opportunities for Ukrainian-Canadian recent university graduates to work on Parliament Hill, we are helping build the next generation of leaders!

Your generous support for this program is making a huge difference in lives of our interns. We are happy to let you know that one of our 2018-2019 interns; Volodymyr Palagniuk has just been offered a permanent position for the office of Jim Eglinski M.P. Because of Volodymyr’s departure from the Internship Program, we are pleased to announce a special 6-month Parliamentary Internship opportunity in Ottawa starting February 2019.

“We’re very pleased that our parliamentary interns are gaining experience and skills, and that their talents are in demand on the Hill. Congratulations to Volodymyr on his new position!” stated Ihor Michalchyshyn, UCC CEO. “We look forward to welcoming a new intern for the spring session of Parliament and encourage everyone to apply!”

Applications due December 31, 2018

To apply for the six-month internship position please visit the UCC’s website. And fill out the application. Applications are due by Friday December 28, 2018.  Official academic transcripts should be provided and unofficial transcripts (date stamped) may be included in the application.

We would also like to also thank all other individuals including donors who have given during this year’s #GivingTuesday in support of the program. The UCC Parliamentary Internship Program was re-established in 2017, thanks to the generous support of the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada, including intern training by the Paul Yuzyk Institute for Youth Leadership.
